| Three generations! |
This is just a little after thought to yesterday's post: we were over at Alex’s mum and dad’s for dinner last week and were entertained, as ever, by Alex senior’s stories of all his years in the building trade. It’s another great example of why it’s important not to let the stories of the past disappear into the ether. My kids have grown up listening to their Grandad’s anecdotes, and they love to hear them over again. One of these days we’ll write them all down – you never know, maybe there’s a bestselling book and movie in the making!!
